MLK Jr. Day in NYC

Today was a beautiful, sunny day, so I took a walk uptown, and brought the camera along. A few sights from my stroll through Harlem and Morningside Heights on this Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday (Observed)...

125th St. and St. Nicholas Ave., 1:15 p.m.

...Now let's widen the frame just a bit for a holiday greeting from Subway Restaurant!

Riverside Church, seen across Morningside Park from 121st St. and Manhattan Ave.

Outside L'Exquisitus Cafe, 107th St. and Manhattan Ave., collecting supplies to send to Haiti.

Thoughts on freedom at PS 163 (Alfred E. Smith School) on 96th St between Columbus and Amsterdam.

Can I get an "amen"?
